GIRAFFE AMIGURUMI

Recently I bought a book Amigurumi & more (author Tessa van Riet-Ernst). I really liked the giraffe family on the cover of the book.  The instructions are very clear and not difficult I think anyone with a bit of crocheting experience can make those lovely amigurumi pictured in the book. Here are some pics of the book:

I have made a big giraffe for my daughter and she loves it! I have slightly changes the original idea and made it look a bit more colourful. Here is the result.

Have a good day!!

The last few days were not so busy and I had enough time to make a new crochet toy for my oldest daughter. The pattern I have found on Internet (In Russian http://world-hmade.ru/masterclass/horse_knit.php). Maybe I can translate it into English some day and put it on my blog.

Mobile phone cover Forest Owl.

Today I have been busy with crocheting again. A while ago I have bought a very nice crochet appliqué from my favourite Vendulka Maderska. I made a few bags for my girls and decorated them with this appliqué but today I decided to crochet a mobile phone cover. For the cover I used MyBoshi yarn ( 70% Polyacrylic, 30% merino wool) I really like the yarn, it comes in many colours and It is very easy to crochet with. Anyway, here is the result. My mobile phone cover Ta-daaaa!!!

I got into cupcakes and crochet  recently and this is the result.
I made these cupcakes for my girls, who love playing Tea Party.
Actually I think I will make a couple for myself and use them as pincushions. They are so cute! Can't stop making them!
Hope you are having a good day so far!

Goodmorning everyone!
The sun is shining, children are at school. It is carnaval today and Eliane could go all dressed up as a pirate girl. She loves to dress up and has a lot of costumes she can play with. This is why for her 5th birthday we gave her a special suitcase, where she can keep all her princess dresses and other costumes. Trust me, sha has many!
On a slightly different note.
On the 3d of March I have a craft fair, that means I have to work extra hard and be very productive. I have a lot of hair clips to make, think of packaging and promotion materials (such as business cards). I am actually almost done with my web shop!
Here is the link to it. Unfortunately you can not buy anything yet, as i have some trouble with PayPal system. Still need to figure out how it works!
Anyway, here is the link!

Have a look at it and tell me what you think, i will appreciate any tips or comments.
I want to specially thank my friend Swee from Swiedebie ( http://www.loveswiedebie.blogspot.nl/ )for being a great support and inspiration to me.
And here is some recent hair clips. They are all 5 cm french barrette clips.

Ohoho! This morning I woke up and looked out of my window and what do I see!!
SNOW!
And this is just when I thought the winter was over.
Well I hope it will not stay for too long and we will be able to enjoy nice weather soon. On a brighter side of things: My oldest daughter is 5 tomorrow!! And I decided to make something for her. The result is very colourful and cheerful, but it is not ready yet! I still have to finish it. Here is the sneak peak preview.
